| Tournaments Overview |
Competition is a core part of why many people get involved in sport, but even if it isn't why you or your children have, there are competitive options for everyone, some with the focus purely on fun, some with the focus slightly more on challenging yourself.
We split out competition into Internal and Open Events, with Internal Events being available only to players based at our clubs and schools, and Open Events being available to everyone. Internal events will be advertised directly at clubs and not on our website.
Below are the types of competition we offer, both internal and external:

Grade 6 Events Grade 6 Tournaments are 1 day events and a great way of an introduction to tournament play against players from your club or coaching group (as opposed to Grade 6 where players often know their opponents from their club or coaching sessions). Leagues League Tennis is played across the length of a term of tennis and is classed as a Grade 6 event. Players typically play 4 or 5 matches across a term against those from the same coaching group so standard tend to be similar |
Grade 4 Events Grade 5 Tournaments are 1 day events and typically players will play 3 matches during the day. They are a good way of starting regular tournament play against players you're unfamiliar with. Grade 5 Events Grade 4 Tournaments are typically a week long in total as there are multiple events running at once. Typically players will only be required to attend for 2/3 days out of the week to complete their matches (unless they enter multiple age groups). |
