Martyn Whait has worked with wheelchair tennis players from the start of his coaching career.
He has worked with and developed some extremely good players in that time, in particular a current player Dave Phillipson (world ranked Top 20) and past player Jayant Mistry (world ranked Top 10).
Martyn has worked as Team GB National Men's Team Coach where he has helped mentor other wheelchair coaches and develop the pool of talent the GB is currently seeing. His expertise has led him being invited to present at the European and World Coach Conferences.
Martyn is still running wheelchair squads weekly for new wheelchair tennis players in the area and would love to meet anyone interested in taking up the sport, so please get in touch if you would like to play or know any groups or players who would!
